Getting Back To Normal

Here's a picture of the moon for no reason.
I am getting back to normal, regular, ordinary life after my trip down to Armpit for the eclipse. Stephanie is out of town this weekend for a wedding, but I will pick her up from the airport Sunday night. I reflect on the eclipse and the idea the having a scientific explanation for something doesn't make it less awesome. I have a dentist appointment coming up and more podcasts to record.

There Is No Dark Side Of The Moon, Really

I came down to Lebanon, TN, aka Armpit, to view the solar eclipse. It was amazing, incredible, awesome, and quite the spectacle. The audio is two clips, one recorded the evening before while I was in the hotel. The other is a not-so-great recording from my phone while were outside viewing the eclipse.

The audio in the second clip is not the greatest sounding, but there was a lot of reaction from both of us. Much of what you hear in this podcast will also have been heard on Up In This Brain.

[Podcast] The Fortnight Countdown

One fortnight, or two weeks, or fourteen days from today I will be in Armpit, Tennessee and hanging out in Up In This Brain Jason's backyard to watch the moon blot out the sun for a couple minutes. It is causing me a bit of anxiety because I really want to witness a total solar eclipse and this is my best chance (the odds of the Sun being out on April 8 of any year in Cleveland are slim to impossible).

And OK, I lied, it's up before we recorded Smooth Sailing.
